The University of Skövde is characterized by an open and welcoming atmosphere, first-class education and internationally competitive research. The university is a state authority under the Ministry of Education and has approximately 550 employees, both in research, teaching and administrative functions. At the University of Skövde, education and research are conducted in selected areas.
