IMP is a research and teaching institution at the medical faculty of the Otto-v.-Guericke University of Magdeburg, Germany. For more than 25 years, it has been a world-leading center for brain plasticity and vision restoration research and technology. Having published over 200 papers in the field and seat of the Editorial Office of the international, peer-reviewed journal Restorative Neurology and Neuroscience, the IMP is a source of information and innovation in low vision and blindness. It is led by Prof. B. Sabel, Director, a noted expert in visual rehabilitation.
