EAWAG: Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Science and Technology

Eawag's task as the national research center for water pollution control is to ensure that: - Concepts and technologies pertaining to the use of natural waters are continuously improved. - Ecological, economical and social water interests are brought into line. Eawag's head office is located in Duebendorf, near Zurich. The Limnological Research Center in Kastanienbaum, near Lucerne, also forms part of Eawag. The Eawag is a Swiss Federal Research Institute which reports to the Board of Management of the Swiss Federal Institutes of Technology (FIT Board). Other Institutes of the FIT Domain are: ETHZ, EPFL, PSI, WSL, EMPA.
