The Heidelberg Laureate Forum Foundation (HLFF) promotes the advancement of mathematics and computer science, with the purpose of raising public awareness and appreciation for these sciences. HLFF hosts the Heidelberg Laureate Forum (HLF). This new scientific event is organized in cooperation with the Heidelberg Institute for Theoretical Studies (HITS), along with the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM; Turing Award), the International Mathematical Union (IMU; Fields Medal) and the Norwegian Academy for Science and Letters (DNVA; Abel Prize). Located in Heidelberg, the Foundation’s head office is situated in the bucolic Villa Bosch, the former residence of the chemist Carl Bosch.
