ERCIM (European Research Consortium for Informatics and Mathematics)

ERCIM — the European Research Consortium for Informatics and Mathematics — aims to foster collaborative work within the European research community and to increase cooperation with European industry. The members of ERCIM include leading research establishments from eighteen European countries. Encompassing over 10,000 researchers and engineers, ERCIM is able to undertake consultancy, development and educational projects on any subject related to its field of activity. ERCIM was founded in 1989 and is a European Economic Interest Grouping (EEIG). ERCIM is the European host of W3C'
