On 15 July at 13:00 (CET), SpongeBoost is organising an online webinar to explore how evidence can be translated into action for sponge landscapes.
The webinar will focus on key project outputs where participants will have the opportunity to hear from experts from the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ), Bureau Stroming, Environmental Action Germany (DUH), Wetlands International Europe and learn more about specific project results.
Following a short welcome, attendees will explore the S.P.O.N.G.E. database, discover how SpongeBoost engages audiences in a creative and entertaining way through its comic books, and learn more about the project's new policy brief on supporting landscape-scale water retention. The programme will conclude with an interactive discussion and a closing outlook.
The hosts will also discuss how they came up with the idea of the comic books and the original character, Spongy, while offering opportunities for feedback and contributions to future project initiatives and outcomes.
Registration is now open. We invite you to join us on 15 July and find out how SpongeBoost's latest resources support knowledge sharing and action for sponge landscapes.
