Sophia Antipolis, 3 June 2026: The Association of Cardiovascular Nursing & Allied Professions (ACNAP), a branch of the European Society of Cardiology, will host ACNAP 2026 from 12 to 13 June at the European Heart House in Sophia Antipolis, France.

ACNAP 2026 will bring together nurses and allied professionals, all united by a shared mission: to improve outcomes and experiences for people living with cardiovascular disease.
The scientific programme includes 50 sessions, ranging from Late-Breaking Science to hands-on workshops, taking place throughout the congress.

“This year’s congress programme brings together research and clinical perspectives across cardiovascular nursing and allied health professions, with a strong focus on collaborative care, patient experiences, lifestyle and prevention, digital innovation, and optimizing outcomes in real-world practice. Our shared goal is to deliver insights that strengthen collaboration and ultimately improve outcomes for patients, their families, and communities,” said ACNAP President Leonie Klompstra.

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) remains one of the world’s leading health challenges, causing over 3 million deaths and 68 million healthy years of life lost each year across the 58 ESC member countries. The high prevalence of clinical risk factors such as hypertension, obesity and diabetes remains a major concern.
