Ateneo Press, ADMU Journals bring great reads to MIBF 2026

Looking for your next great read?

Ateneo de Manila University is bringing a fresh lineup of books, authors, journals, and literary offerings to the 2026 Manila International Book Fair!

From September 9 to 13, readers can visit the Ateneo de Manila University Press booth (Booths 7-10, between Halls 1 and 2) at the SMX Convention Center Manila, and discover new titles, browse longtime favorites, and take home a few literary finds of their own.

AUP will feature its newest and most anticipated titles, including Versus: Mga Kuwento by DJ Ellamil; Are You Still Watching? Dispatches and Essays on Filipino Cinema and TV by Don Jaucian; My Lola’s Love Letters: A Novel by Ines Bautista-Yao; Memoirs of an Art Forger: A Novel by Julian Tiongson Jr.; Song of the Mango and Other New Myths by Vida Cruz-Borja; The End Comes on Without a Gasp by Trish Shishikura; Factory of Alleged Virtues by Alfonso Manalastas; and What Recipes Don’t Tell by Felice Sta. Maria.

Readers can also meet the authors themselves through a lineup of book signings at the booth throughout the fair.

Joining AUP at MIBF are the ADMU Journals, showcasing a diverse lineup of scholarly publications—available in print and online—including Philippine Studies: Historical and Ethnographic Viewpoints ; Budhi: A Journal of Ideas and Culture ; Kritika Kultura ; Perspectives in the Arts and Humanities Asia ; Katipunan ; Journal of Management for Global Sustainability ; and Social Transformations: Journal of the Global South . Discover research spanning Philippine history, culture, society, the arts, humanities, and more!

And if you’re looking for a good book at a good price, there’s even more reason to stop by: new titles are 15% off, other titles are up to 30% off, with P50 bargain titles and other offers available at the booth.

Of course, you can also take a little piece of Ateneo home with you! New AUP merchandise, including tote bags––perfect for carrying the books you bought and other bookish items to show your love for books beyond the pages.

Need a ticket? Ateneo is giving them away for free! Visitors can get free admission to MIBF 2026 by visiting the AUP Bookshop at Bellarmine Hall to pick up a bookmark invite or by scanning the QR code on their promotional materials to download, print, and present at the entrance.

So, whether you’re looking for your next read, hoping to meet an author, hunting for a bargain, or simply excited to spend a day surrounded by books, make a stop at the Ateneo de Manila University Press Booth at MIBF 2026!

See you at Booths 7-10, from September 9 to 13!

Testimonials

For well over a decade, in my capacity as a researcher, broadcaster, and producer, I have relied heavily on Alphagalileo.
All of my work trips have been planned around stories that I've found on this site.
The under embargo section allows us to plan ahead and the news releases enable us to find key experts.
Going through the tailored daily updates is the best way to start the day. It's such a critical service for me and many of my colleagues.
Koula Bouloukos, Senior manager, Editorial & Production Underknown
We have used AlphaGalileo since its foundation but frankly we need it more than ever now to ensure our research news is heard across Europe, Asia and North America. As one of the UK’s leading research universities we want to continue to work with other outstanding researchers in Europe. AlphaGalileo helps us to continue to bring our research story to them and the rest of the world.
Peter Dunn, Director of Press and Media Relations at the University of Warwick
AlphaGalileo has helped us more than double our reach at SciDev.Net. The service has enabled our journalists around the world to reach the mainstream media with articles about the impact of science on people in low- and middle-income countries, leading to big increases in the number of SciDev.Net articles that have been republished.
