Registration is open for ESHG 2026, Europe’s largest meeting of human geneticists, to be held in Gothenburg, Sweden, from June 13 – 16. The congress brings together geneticists working in research, clinical services, public health, diagnostic laboratories, and ethical, legal and societal issues. The congress will be hybrid, with attendance both in person and online, and is expected to attract about 7,000 attendees from over 90 countries.
The preliminary programme is available here:

Please note that there are no dedicated press facilities on site, although a press officer will be present and be able to help with interview requests, etc. If you are not registered, you will not be able to see sessions online. Abstracts, with the exception of late-breakers and those selected for the media programme, will be available on the website two weeks before the congress.
