On 21 January 2020, The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, TÜBİTAK, is organising a COST Info day in the Feza Gürsey Meeting Hall in Ankara Turkey.
Prof. Dr Hasan MANDAL, President of TÜBİTAK will welcome the session.
Prof. Paulo Ferrão, President of the COST Association will present COST to promote and spread research excellence.
The Information day will offer participants an introduction to COST and COST Actions, including:
  • What is European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST)?
  • How does the COST programme work?
  • What is a COST Action? How can you participate?
  • The Impact through networking by Mr Bart Veys, COST Policy Officer.
National Participation in COST by Prof. Mehmet Arif Adli, COST National Coordinator of Turkey.
What are the benefits in participating in COST – Experience Sharing from Turkish Management Committee members.
The session will end with an exchange of questions and answers.
