A Couple of weeks ago the Fashion Week Stockholm was inaugurated by the degree classes at the bachelor's and master's programmes in fashion design at the Swedish School of Textiles, University of Borås. On 14 September the next step takes place in London when the internationally highlighted collections will be presented at the London Fashion Week.

Gender, identity, power and norm are standing actual and current questions. This is, within this year’s fashion degree works by the fashion students, clearly notable.
Exciting for this year is that the students have worked with the issues with an amount of variations to develop the area forward. Examples are new ways to look at the naked male body as a sexual object, ego and fetish, function in garment and female identity, collective wear and group affiliation and boundaries between the artefacts that are around us in a room and what we wear.
