Media can register now for the European Emergency Medicine Congress (EUSEM 2024), which takes place at the Bella Center, Copenhagen, Denmark, from 13 to 16 October.
This annual congress attracts over 3000 emergency medicine specialists from around the world. Research presented at the Congress will include topics such as emerging threats and technologies in disaster medicine; climate change is an emergency too; the role of artificial intelligence in emergency medicine; drug abusers in emergency departments: the current situation in Europe; sepsis; what is new in heart failure, cardiac arrest and resuscitation; and emergency care for children and the elderly.
There will be tracks focusing on the latest Nordic research on topics such as long-term preparations for disasters, rural emergency medicine and point-of-care.
EUSEM welcomes the interest of the press in emergency medicine issues and is happy to assist journalists attending EUSEM Congress sessions in person or using the Congress website as a resource in their coverage. The Congress is open to bona fide representatives of print and electronic media, and registration is free.
