Media can register now for the 38th EORTC-NCI-AACR Symposium, which takes place in Barcelona, Spain, Wednesday 18 to Friday 20 November 2026.
The EORTC-NCI-AACR (ENA) Symposium is at the forefront of meetings about developing cancer drugs for the future. Recognised as a leading forum for drug development and translational research, ENA 2026 will spotlight cutting-edge preclinical and phase I studies, fostering deep scientific exchange around emerging targets and novel therapeutics. Bringing together a global community of researchers, clinicians and industry experts, the Symposium offers a dynamic platform to explore the latest findings in molecular biology, target identification and drug innovation.
Three of the world’s leading cancer organisations:
- The European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC)
- The USA’s National Cancer Institute (NCI)
- The American Association for Cancer Research (AACR)
will join forces in November 2026 to provide a platform for presenting recent advances in pre-clinical and clinical research. Around 1,500 international experts in the field will be discussing innovations in drug development, ground-breaking new data, the selection of new targets for anti-cancer drugs, and the impact of new discoveries in molecular biology, in order to improve the survival and quality of life of cancer patients.
The Symposium and press conferences are open to bona fide representatives of print and electronic media, and registration is free. To access the press conferences and to receive official press releases, journalists must register for the Symposium and be in possession of a valid, recognised press card. Freelance journalists must supply a commissioning letter on headed paper from a recognised news organisation or publication stating that they are being commissioned to write a report for publication. ENA 2026 is an in-person event with on-demand webcasts available following the Symposium. Registration includes exclusive access to the on-demand webcasts and e-posters for three months after the Symposium.
NB: the official language of the symposium is English, and all press materials will be in English and Spanish.
