We are pleased to announce the third webinar of our joint series, “3D Printing and Biofabrication: Designing Sustainable Materials”, taking place on Friday, 26 June, from 14:30 to 15:30 CEST.
Organised with the MAGICBIOMAT project, this online event will explore how 3D printing and biofabrication are enabling the development of bio-based and biodegradable materials with enhanced circularity and reduced environmental impact. As sustainability becomes a key driver of innovation, additive manufacturing is opening new possibilities for designing materials that combine high performance with improved end-of-life management.
The webinar will highlight applications across sectors such as healthcare, packaging and advanced biomaterials, showcasing how additive manufacturing technologies can support more sustainable production systems. Participants will also gain insights into the role of artificial intelligence in material design, as well as emerging approaches to programmed biodegradability, which are helping to shape the next generation of circular materials.
