NCCR PlanetS
NCCR PlanetS ist eine Schweizer Kollaboration zur Planetenforschung. Sie besteht seit Juni 2014 und wird vom Schweizerischen Nationalfonds finanziert. Zu PlanetS gehören Forschungsteams der Universitäten Bern, Genf, Zürich sowie das ETH Zürich. Ziel ist die Erforschung des Ursprungs und der Evolution von Planeten sowie deren Charakterisierung.
The National Centre of Competence in Research (NCCR) PlanetS is a Swiss organization dedicated to research in planetary sciences. It was established by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) in June 2014. It is composed of research teams located at the Universities of Bern (Leading House), Geneva (co-Leading House), and Zurich as well as of the ETH Zurich. The NCCR PlanetS is a national research program dedicated to the study of the origin and evolution of planets and their characterisation.
