After its success in the June edition, the
European Food Information Council (EUFIC) is organising a second
training for journalists on 23 September: “Healthy & sustainable diets: evidence-based reporting for journalists & science communicators." This is a short online session designed to support accurate and nuanced coverage of this increasingly important topic.
After the training, you will know more about:
- challenges when communicating sustainable diets,
- how to communicate scientific uncertainty,
- framing sustainability behaviors,
- what science says about healthy and sustainable diets.
The session draws on a review of interventions tested in the literature, original consumer survey data, and current research in behavioural science and risk communication.
