SMART ERA Launches it 1st Open Call for Pilot Add-ons

Up to 11 Innovators will receive €60,000 and Mentorship to Tackle SMART ERA Rural Challenges

SMART ERA is delighted to announce the launch of its 1st Open Call for Pilots Add-ons, now officially open to applicants.

We are seeking up to 11 forward-thinking innovators to help address key rural challenges in our six dynamic Pilot Regions. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the transformation of rural areas through smart and sustainable solutions.

Successful applicants will receive:

  • Up to €60,000 in equity-free funding

  • A tailored 9-month Mentoring Programme with expert guidance and technical support

This call is open until 4 November 2025 at 15:00 CET, and we welcome proposals from startups, SMEs and other individual legal registered entities ready to make an impact.
