Expert registration

If eligible, you can nominate yourself as an expert for the media.  Experts will normally have a PhD and a position at a research organisation.  If you register as an expert, your details will be added to our database which is accessed by the registered journalists only.

How to become an AlphaGalileo expert

• If you already have a contributor login to AlphaGalileo - Log in to the system and go to My AlphaGalileo > Edit my details You will be able to edit all your settings, including the ones in the section Choose your options for AlphaGalileo. To become an expert for the media, tick the box next to I wish to be available as an expert for the media. You will be asked to give some additional details about your professional background upon going to the next page.
  
• If you don't have a login to AlphaGalileo - You can apply for an expert or a contributor AND expert login. In order to do that, you need to fill in our online application form which can be found here. For general advice on how to fill in the form, please go to Contributor Registration. To become an expert for the media, tick the box next to I wish to be available as an expert for the media in the section Choose your options for AlphaGalileo. You will be asked to give some additional details about your professional background upon going to the next page.

Entering your expert details

Please fill in all the fields, as this information will be stored on our database and the more detailed the information you provide is the more appreciated it is by the journalists registered with AlphaGalileo.

Please provide us with the following details:

• your date of birth
• the languages you speak
• your qualifications (PhD, MSc, etc.)
• your published work (quotations)
• your research areas (keywords which explain your specialist subject) 
• your interview experience (newspapers, TV, radio interviews).

Once you have completed and submitted your application form, it will be sent to our team and processed within a short time. Subject to approval, you will receive a confirmation email and your details will be shown on our database.
