Alerts

Having a journalist or a contributor login, you can also choose to receive the latest news by email. We can deliver the releases as email alerts directly to your inbox.

To change the settings for your alerts, please go to Edit languages/alerts in 'My AlphaGalileo'. This page allows you to select exactly what content is of interest to you, by checking the boxes next to news items, e.g. Press release, Events, and keywords, e.g. Space Science, Visual Arts, Technology Transfer.

You can also choose the languages you wish to receive alerts in and the frequency of your alerts using the drop-down menu.

If you are a journalist, you can choose to be emailed full or summary texts of all embargoed and non-embargoed content. Your options are: immediate (full text), immediate (summary text), daily (full text) or weekly (full text).

If you are a contributor, you can choose to be emailed full texts of all non-embargoed and out-of-embargo content. We automatically collate all content which is not embargoed or out-of-embargo at 00.00 GMT daily.

Note that if you are out of the office, you can suspend your alerts by choosing ’I do not wish to receive alerts’ from the drop-down menu. You can change these settings at any time.
