CALL FOR EDITOR-IN-CHIEF
 
The Journal of Applied School Psychology seeks a new editor-in-chief to begin accepting papers in 2013 for the 2014 volume year.
 
Duties of the editor-in-chief include:
 
recruiting an editorial board;
 
establishing editorial policy;
 
using the ScholarOne Manuscripts system to manage manuscript submissions and processing;
 
and ensuring that accepted manuscripts are uploaded for publication in a timely manner.
 
Required qualifications are: (1) a history of scholarship in school psychology, (2) familiarity with the editorial review process, and (3) access to sufficient technological infrastructure to provide prompt and regular feedback to manuscript authors.
 
Desired qualifications are: (1) familiarity with the Journal of Applied School Psychology’s philosophy, and (2) familiarity with mission of The American Academy of School Psychology.

The Journal of Applied School Psychology publishes peer-reviewed articles and periodic thematic issues. The journal seeks novel and creative ways in which to disseminate information about sound and empirically supported school psychology practice. Schools psychologists, child clinical psychologists, mental health professionals, applied school psychology researchers, and all others interested in the application of psychology in schools and related settings will find the current information they need in the Journal of Applied School Psychology.
