Special advance preview of the first article from 'Digital Journalism'

Since the announcement of the forthcoming launch of 'Digital Journalism' in 2013, we have been overwhelmed by the enthusiastic response the news has sparked within the journalism studies community.
As a thank you for this interest, we can now offer a special preview of an innovative new article to be published in 'Digital Journalism'.
We’re delighted to announce that you can read David Hedley’s article “Social Moments in Solo Videojournalism” free online now, ahead of its publication in Volume 1, Issue 1 of the journal next year.
Using an award-winning video by Dave Delozier (2009) as a case study, Hedley explores how a solo videojournalist can use digital technology to create both visual and social meaning for his audience, extending it beyond the realms of photojournalism.
Subtitled “subjective social reality through editorial vision and video”, it is fitting that the online version of David’s article will be the first Routledge article ever to feature an embedded video piece. To read the article now, go to:
