International Symposium on Veterinary Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy to be held in Vienna

The biannual symposium represents a meeting point for veterinarians in the fields of physical therapy, sports medicine, rehabilitation, surgery, orthopedics, neurology, biomechanics and motion analysis. It is the largest international conference on animal rehabilitation and physical therapy and the ideal place to experience leading speakers from different professions, who combine their knowledge on thematically linked and topically focused presentations and conclude with key take-home messages that are relevant to both practice and research.
The renowned international speakers will ensure that delegates are exposed to cutting-edge research and knowledge in the fields of veterinary rehabilitation and physical therapy from throughout the world. The special mix of different veterinary professions will make it easy to appreciate one another’s strengths and to understand the importance of cooperation. After each mini-symposium there will be discussion panels, which will provide delegates with the opportunity to explore current issues and hot topics in lively discussions with experts. In addition, the audience will be able to pose questions to stimulate discussion.

The 7th International Symposium on Veterinary Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy (ISVR 2012) will take place in collaboration between the International Association of Veterinary Rehabilitation and Physical Therapy (IAVRPT) and the University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna (Austria, Europe) and will be hosted by the University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna.
