The battle of the European journal Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics against the contaminating effects of conflict of interest on psychiatry continues with an editorial by Vladan Starcevic. The editorial documents the close link between campaigns to promote awareness of mental illness by scientific societies and meetings and marketing strategies of the pharmaceutical industry.
